Peter Hall, MBA, Financial Planner
The Story
Peter’s career began as an engineering officer in the United States Merchant Marine. In 2003, he was awarded the Operation Iraqi Freedom Expeditionary Medal for his time spent deployed overseas. It was his time on ships that he decided to pursue an interest in investing and learned the ins and outs of the finance industry. In 2005, Peter was honorably discharged from the United States Navy Reserve. He spent nearly 12 years in the engineering field before transitioning into financial services where he has been ever since.
With Charter Oak since 2010, Peter focuses his practice on the financial planning, investment and insurance planning needs of families and business owners. He believes that a person’s financial situation is bound to change over time, which is why he emphasizes the importance of having a trackable financial strategy. He says, “If my clients can sleep comfortably at night knowing their finances are secure, then I can as well.”
Outside of the office, Peter can be found enjoying the great outdoors by way of wakeboarding, fishing and boating. In addition to spending time with his family and running his practice, Peter is actively involved in the Hillside Food Outreach organization, and his children’s school and extracurricular programs. Peter resides in Danbury, CT with his wife and three children.
